The library's collections are organized by the Library of congress classification system ( see http://lgdata.s3-website-us-east-1.amazonaws.com/docs/1515/414699/LC_outline.jpg for a general outline by letter designations). You can see the distribution of the letter system on the maps on http://www.cpp.edu/~library/about/about-the-library/floor-maps.shtm. There are special places for certain groupings and formats (maps on forurth floor, DVDs and VHS on 2nd, Juvenile on 3rd floor, etc.).
