When you find a microfiche from the University of Oregon in the OneSearch, you can probably get an online version from our database calledOregon PDF, which is considerably easier than trying to get a printed copy of a microfiche. Note that these microfiche are dissertations and theses, so they are not books or articles.

Paste a few of the key words from the title of the microfiche you found with OneSearch into the "ALL" search of  Oregon PDF and click the "GO" Button:

In some cases, instead of a link to a PDF, you will find a link to request that they make a PDF for you. Click on it to request the item. It will be converted into a PDF and emailed to you within 24 hours.
