When you find a microfiche from the University of Oregon in the Library Catalog, you can probably get an online version from our database called Oregon PDF, which is considerably easier than trying to get a printed copy of a microfiche. Note that these microfiche are dissertations and theses, so they are not books or articles.  

Paste a few of the key words from the title of the item from the library catalog:

into the "ALL" search of  Oregon PDF and click the "GO" Button:

In some cases, instead of a link to a PDF, you will find a link to request that they make a PDF for you:

 Click on it to request the item. It will be converted into a PDF and emailed to you within 24 hours.
