How do I get access to the Library Databases when I'm off campus?

When you try to connect to a database from a computer off campus, you will be asked for your Bronco name and password. This is the same login you use for Blackboard, BroncoDirect, CPP student email, and other campus IT services.


I'm being asked for a password even after I login with my Bronco name and password.  Where can I get the password?

When a database asks you for an additional password, most likely the remote database server is having some difficulty. Clearing your web browser cache will often fix the problem.


I get a message like "All Ports in Use" or "Maximum number of sessions in use" when I click on a database, and I can't get into the database. What happened?

Some databases have limited capacity to host a large number of users. If you see this type of error message, wait ~5 minutes, then click refresh on your browser.
